William Simpson, aged eighty three years, died last Friday at his home on South Court Street. His disease was dropsy. The funeral occurred on Saturday afternoon at two o’clock at Smartsburg in which place the deceased had resided for thirty years. Mr. Simpson leaves two sons and two daughters.
